I received a free review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book and it was especially interesting with the twist that threatens Lily and Rand's happiness. This is probably my favorite book by Lauren and Devon Royal now. The characters are really well developed in this book.
  • Promises kept?

Promises kept? I love this story. Like all of Lauren and Devon's books it is very well written. The descriptions are detailed enough to transport you into the story and the story is complete. I despise books that rush through the endings and wrap up suddenly. This book does a very nice job of following the story to its completion. I received a free preview version of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
  • Another wonderful Chase Family book!

From the first word, I was drawn in to this book. Lily is such a kind and sweet young lady. He love for animals and kindness to others makes her very special. She reminded me of Cinderella and Snow White, the way she could speak to the animals! Rose, Lily's older sister, is determined to find a husband. She falls in love with every handsome man she meets and now has her sights set on Rand, a young Oxford professor, that has known the family for some time. Rose makes Lily promise to not pursue Rand. Unfortunately, they did not let Rand in on the secret. Often, the heart is much more powerful than words or promises. This book has a wonderful plot that includes mystery, romance, matchmaking, family dynamics and much more. I loved it and cannot wait for Rose's story! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review!
